DANIEL GAMARRA PEÑALVER

Meet Daniel Gamarra, professional padel coach and sports commentator for the Premier Padel circuit and the International Padel Federation (FIP) with the aim of making padel an Olympic sport through its analysis in its global TV broadcasts.

With more than 12 years of experience teaching padel in different clubs in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Daniel is a leading figure in this sport and one of the best-known padel coaches worldwide.

Daniel is an ambassador and international padel coach for the Adidas Padel brand and he is the sports director of JR Sports, a padel training and management brand created by Jorge Rodríguez Lorenzo, whose methodology has trained eight world number one players in the history of padel.

SPORTS CAREER

Daniel Gamarra was born in Madrid and started playing padel at the age of 14.

Daniel obtained his padel coaching qualification from the Madrid Padel Federation (FMP) at the age of 16 and since then has competed in federated tournaments in Spain in the junior category, where he ranked among the top 10 players in Madrid.

Daniel studied journalism at the UCM and has contributed to media outlets such as PadelSpain, Padelworldpress, EFE Noticias, and El Confidencial in the sports section.

Currently, Daniel is sports commentator for Premier Padel and the FIP (International Padel Federation) and is a coach for the JR Sports method, X3 Padel, and the Adidas brand.

Daniel is a member of the Premier Padel and FIP professional coaches' association, having coached various professional players on the FIP and Premier Padel circuits.

JR Sports is a brand specializing in padel training and sports management for padel events.

Created by Jorge Rodriguez, JR Sports has trained eight number ones in the history of padel, including Fernando Belasteguin, Pablo Lima, Paquito Navarro, Juan Lebron, Miguel Lamperti, and Agustin Tapia, using its training methodology.

JR Sports organizes padel sporting events such as one-week training clinics using the JR Sports method and level 1 and level 2 coach training courses.

JR Sports also works with the best players in the world to organize Proams, training clinics, and exhibitions matches at any padel club in the world. We have worked with players such as Agustin Tapia, Federico Chingotto, Ale Galan, Sanyo Gutierrez, Juan Lebron, Paquito Navarro, Miguel Lamperti, Pablo Lima, and Juan Martin Diaz.
